Eschaton

History is merciless …

Suppose every myth, legend, and fairy tale had a basis in history. And suppose they were so much worse than you ever imagined.

Eschaton is the dark fantasy framework for all my mythic fantasy stories. The Eschaton Cycle presents mythic fantasy in an alternate version of Earth, carried out through numerous iterations of the world.

Civilization rises and flourishes, but in time, corruption grows. When the world threatens to crumble beneath the weight of its own darkness, the Destroyer arises to combat the corruption. This battle results in a cataclysmic destruction of civilization and the death of much of the population, called an Eschaton. Following an Eschaton, the world is renewed, beginning a new Era.
